This is such a great set and super fun addition to my daughter's growing collection of Lego sets.It was easy for her to build on her own following the step by step directions the only thing she had me dowas we had to flatten out the stickers before she could apply them to the right pieces since they came a little bent and trying to curl up so we just put them under some heavy books and by the time she needed them they were fine.It comes with both Stephanie and Kate and a little windsurfer for them to use.What is nice is that this is a two story house that is open for easy play access to the parts in the house and the many other accessory pieces that come with it like the bed and we just love the chairs for the characters to sit out on the terrace in.She is having so much fun playing with this set and now she is saving up money for one of the other houses.Same Lego set as at the local letter-mart, but no crazed drivers, paint smashing carts, or long lines that lead to underpaid cashiers. (Not knocking cashiers- but letter-marts tend to treat them like feudal era fiefs.) The only downside is that I did not get to see anyone wearing food products, sleep wear or underpants as shopping attire while completing this transaction, also it came pre-boxed so I did not have to hide a toy from my child before Santa has time to deliver it.SO SO SO neat! The engineering of this toy is superb! There are so many cute parts and cute things that pieces do. My nine-year-old put it together by herself using the clear, easy-to-understand instructions. She had a blast! She was sad to be finished, but happy to get to play with the final product. I will definitely order another similar product for her in the future. I'd give this product more than five stars if I could.My daughters (ages 8 and 13) have a field day with the LEGO Friends products. They particularly loved this beach house. It has so many adorable moving parts. They took a full two hours to lovingly and happily put it together. It looked absolutely beautiful and high quality once it was complete. No parts were missing. No parts broke in the process. They play with it or admire it every single day. I don't mind spending money on the LEGO Friends toy products. Highly recommended.Directions were very easy to follow. It took my 4yr old daughter about a week to finish. She was very excited to work on it every day.This was one of her first Lego sets, so we worked on it as a team. She got pretty good at reading the directions -- knowing how many of which pieces to find & then where to put them. This Lego set is great for building confidence in reading numbers, learning patience, and teamwork. :)This was a really fun birthday gift for my 6 year old granddaughter. We had fun putting it together. She was able to do it herself with help, all it took was someone sitting with her and pointing at the instructions with pacience. it was a nice size and really cute. It's a great addition to the set she already had. would definitely buy it again and will be buying other sets to complete her play.I bought this one for my daughter and she loves it. Legos are great for helping kids develop their skills; instead of being attached to a video game screen or the TV'. This a wonderful way to help them get a creative mind. I plan to get my kids more lego games in the near future.This was a great gift for my 5 year old daughter. The instructions were clear and so assembly was easy. I would have like a case with sections to allow us to disassemble the house and rebuild it again any number of times. It seems that this set was made for one off assembly.Daughter loved this, a year later, with play, its still together. Lego always wins.Grand daughter was very happy with this gift.Legos, nuff said...Bought as gift. Very nice set.gift ...she'll love it
